Collingwood’s Day (DT of Grand Final #2)

Let’s just let the names speak for themselves.

    Captain: Scott Pendlebury*
    Vice-Captain: Dane Swan*

Pendlebury and Swan both scored 141, as Pendlebury is a cheaper player, he is selected. Also, the Norm Smith medalist!

B: Alan Toovey (95), Sam Gilbert (85), James Gwilt (95)
HB: Brendon Goddard (110), Nick Maxwell (97) , Heath Shaw (109)
C: Nick Dal Santo (126), Lenny Hayes (123), Steele Sidebottom (113)
HF: Alan Didak (92), Leigh Brown (69), Dale Thomas (112)
F: Adam Schneider (73), Nick Riewoldt (71), Brent Macaffer (73)
Foll: Darren Jolly (110), Dane Swan (141), Scott Pendlebury (141)
Inter: Harry O’Brien (79), Sharrod Wellingham (106), Ben McEvoy (64), Chris Dawes (51)

Special apologies to Luke Ball – who scored 103 – but as only 6 midfielders can be selected, he unfortunately missed out.

    Collingwood: 14
    St. Kilda: 8

Swan’s Prelim Heroes (DT of Prelim finals)

The Unique Norm Smiths (DT of R22)

    Captain: Travis Boak
    Vice-Captain: Levi Greenwood

Well, whoda funk it. Congratulations to all who walked away with a premiership cup!

But look at the best performing 22 from the weekend? Does it seem strange? Would you have chosen Blake or Grant or Brogan or MIKE PYKE to be your grand final hero?

I call this team the Norm Smiths. Remember their names. Could be good to know the decent round 22 players come next year.

Travis Boak wins the best performed player of the week, and the only ‘usual’ suspects in this team are Lake, Milburn, Swan, Harvey, Mitchell and Franklin.

    Cya next year!

B: Levi Greenwood (139), Brian Lake (112), Andrew Mackie (116)

HB: James Kelly (126), Jason Blake (117), Darren Milburn (131)

C: Brad Green (135), Travis Boak (148), Dane Swan (133)

HF: Jarrad Grant (134), Robert Murphy (113), Brent Harvey (109)

F: Mitch Morton (124), Lance Franklin (114), Jarred Brennan (114)

Foll: Dean Brogan (129), Sam Mitchell (128), Kieran Jack (128)

Inter: Scott D. Thompson (110), James McDonald* (127), Mike Pyke (110), Leroy Jetta (108)

    • McDonald and Gary Ablett both scored 127, as McDonald is cheaper he is selected

Injury report – Round 22- GRAND FINAL :D

The GF post :D , sorry about the fact that i didnt make a post last week :( i was busy at university.

This will just be a quick post of the players who where injured/reported and will miss or are in doubt for this week.

    Injuries

    Jobe Watson

A 50-50 chance to play so MAKE sure you have cover, if not and you have a trade or 2 left, may want to trade him away to make sure you have someone playing.

    Adam Cooney

Hamstring in the first Quarter of the game on the weekend and will now miss the rest of the season, if you trades, MAKE SURE you trade him!

    Shane Mumford

Injured his knee in their win over the dogs and will now miss the last game :( trade out if you have the trades, but if you dont hope you have cover :O

    Grant Birchall

Injured his hamstring in the slaughter of Freo on the weekend and is listed as TBC so wait on news about Grant.

    Luke Hodge

May be rested this week after he looked to injure a knee on the weekend, make sure you can cover for Hodge if he does go out.

    Reports

    James Podsiadly

Suspended for 3 weeks, and got it knocked down to 2, but it makes zero difference because he will still miss the Grand Final :( bench him or TRADE him out.

    Josh Hunt

Got 2 weeks for a “wreckless tackle” so will miss the last round :( most people wouldnt have Hunt playing anymore so all is well :)

Goodbye :D and good luck for your finals.
